Overview
We are looking for a results-oriented YouTube Content Operations Assistant to support content management for our YouTube channel. This position involves overseeing content, managing rights, analyzing data, and developing our audience to ensure the channel reaches its full potential.
Responsibilities
Monitor uploaded YouTube videos, including copyright claims and policy issues
Handle manual claims and manage Content ID disputes
Plan and schedule content uploads using a structured content calendar
Collaborate with editors, creators, and internal teams to deliver content on time
Optimize titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and metadata
Prepare basic YouTube Analytics reports and highlight key performance metrics
Track key metrics: watch time, CTR, retention, and subscriber growth
Follow YouTube best practices for publishing and metadata
Qualifications
Experience managing or assisting with a YouTube channel
Experience managing a YouTube channel or digital video platform
Knowledge of copyright, Content ID, and monetization
Basic understanding of YouTube SEO and metadata optimization
Comfortable working with analytics and performance dashboards
Excellent organization, communication, and project-management skills
Familiarity with video editing workflows (you don’t need to edit—just oversee)
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Shorts, live streaming, and community features
Background in digital media, marketing, or content production
YouTube Certified is a plus!
