Essential Functions
Observe patients via video monitoring to ensure safety by identifying and reporting behaviors that may compromise patient, staff, or visitor safety.
Ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff at all times.
Document activities and services accurately, completely, and in a timely manner in accordance with regulations.
Report unsafe conditions and remove unsafe equipment or furniture when identified.
Ask for assistance as needed to ensure the safety of all involved.
Maintain a safe working environment and practice safe work habits.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and colleague health policies and procedures.
Complete all required safety training and programs.
Consistently and appropriately use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Know and demonstrate departmental emergency procedures, including fire, disaster, and other emergency situations.
Education And Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) - Preferred.
Experience Level
0–2 years.
Basic Skill Set
Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and providers while performing job duties.
