Overview
Advanced Technologies is seeking a full-time Web Developer / Graphic Designer / Document Accessibility Specialist to provide support and maintenance services for the existing client, Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE), website.
Responsibilities
Provide support and maintenance services for the existing ALSDE website.
Develop new website features and functionality as defined by the client.
Remediate PDF documents, Word files, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and PDF/UA standards.
Perform other closely related professional services typically associated with website development, maintenance, and support, including but not limited to:
Writing and editing content
Document remediation
Solving code problems
Training
Preparation of documentation
Other problem‑solving tasks
Designing webpage layout
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field with two (2) to three (3) years of professional design experience. Portfolio of strong creative work. Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
