Line Producer
We’re looking for a Jr. Line Producer to partner with the executive team in Unscripted Production. This role oversees multiple projects during pre‑production, manages budgets and schedules, and ensures a seamless transition into active production and delivery.
Job Summary
The Line Producer will help manage the day‑to‑day operations of multiple productions, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination across departments. This role works closely with executives, creative teams, and production staff to ensure all projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities
Oversee production from pre‑production through final delivery, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
Build, maintain, and revise detailed production schedules; track progress and communicate updates regularly
Develop and manage production budgets in collaboration with executives and accounting, monitor costs for reporting
Serve as a liaison between production teams, studio, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely communication
Coordinate with Executive Producers, creators, and creative teams to support the overall vision and execution of projects
Work closely with Production Managers to manage logistics, staffing, and operational needs
Supervise production workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations across multiple shows
Communicate critical updates to crew, executives, and departments on a daily and weekly basis
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, location agreements, equipment rentals, and all production‑related deals
Oversee safety protocols on set, ensuring all production activities adhere to industry safety standards and applicable regulations
Travel to and oversee on‑location shoots, whether domestic or international
Requirements & Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Line Producer or 5+ years in Production Management on major networks or streaming platforms
Proven experience creating and managing budgets for documentary series or features and other formats with proficiency in Movie Magic and Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of production processes, scheduling, and cost reporting
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Bachelor's degree preferred (Film, Media, or related field), or equivalent experience
The annual salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $110,000 – $115,000. The salary offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and relevant expertise. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
