Workforce & Talent Manager – Advisory
Our client, a Big4 Accounting & Professional Services Firm is seeking a

Talent Manager

to support their Advisory Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics teams. This role sits at the intersection of people management, workforce planning, and talent operations. It is not a hands‑on technical role; rather, the focus is on managing people, supporting career development, and ensuring effective staffing and talent processes.

The Talent Manager is responsible for overseeing consultants throughout the employee lifecycle, from staffing and utilization to performance management and career growth. This role ensures the right talent is placed on the right work, employees are supported in their development, and people‑related operations run efficiently and at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Portfolio & Workforce Management

Manage components of each employee’s career portfolio by prioritizing and coordinating work across stakeholders

Collect, summarize, and analyze data to inform staffing, development, and talent decisions

Manage a pool of talent by:

Tracking staffed vs. bench resources

Monitoring contract start and end dates

Prioritizing redeployment for employees coming off assignments

Staffing & Hiring Coordination

Lead weekly staffing/search meetings with hiring managers

Provide clear updates on open roles and candidate progress

Follow up on action items and hold stakeholders accountable

People Operations & Performance Management

Track and approve timecards, PTO, and weekly 1:1 activity

Conduct or coordinate annual performance reviews

Support career development conversations and feedback cycles

Career Growth & Employee Support

Support employee development by managing career planning inputs

Collect feedback and performance dataUse insights to guide promotion, development, and staffing decisions

Metrics & Reporting

Define and track KPIs such as:

Utilization rates

Time on bench

Performance indicators

Use metrics to drive accountability and operational decisions

Process Improvement

Identify inefficiencies in talent and people‑related processes

Improve or build systems, tools, workflows, and documentation

Help scale talent operations efficiently as the organization grows

Qualifications & Experience

3–5 years of experience in People Management, Talent Operations, HR, or Workforce Management

Familiarity with:

Project management tools

Office and calendar systems

Tracking spreadsheets and/or HRIS tools

Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to partner with leadership and drive accountability

Other Details

Candidates are required to be legally authorized to work in the United States without a sponsoring employer indefinitely. At this time, we can only accept US Citizens, GC Holders, or GC EAD.

This is a fully remote role; however, all work must be performed within the continental United States. Client equipment may not be taken outside the continental U.S., and candidates must currently reside within this region to be considered.

Compensation: Up to $21.62/hour, based on location and experience.

W2 contract position. C2C arrangements are not permitted. This is a long‑term contract opportunity with the potential for extension and a multi‑year engagement.
