Digital Signage / ESL Template Designer

to join their team

on site in Katy, TX . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys

translating physical/print assets into digital formats , working with

data-driven templates , and ensuring

pixel-perfect design execution

in a retail environment.

Position Summary
The Digital Signage / ESL Template Designer will be responsible for converting traditional paper signage into scalable digital templates for Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs). Using an in-house WYSIWYG design tool, this individual will standardize signage formats to ensure visual consistency, data flexibility, and usability across retail environments. This role partners closely with Store Operations to validate designs in real-world store settings.

What the Right Candidate Will Have

Experience translating

physical or print-based assets into digital formats

Proficiency with

WYSIWYG design tools

(Figma, PowerPoint, etc.)

Strong attention to detail with a focus on

layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy

Understanding of

variable data and template-based design

Ability to anticipate and test for

edge cases in data-driven designs

Strong communication and

cross-functional collaboration skills

What You’ll Be Doing

Convert legacy paper signage into

scalable digital templates

Utilize an internal WYSIWYG platform to build and standardize designs

Validate template behavior across different

data scenarios

Conduct

visual QA checks

to ensure readability and brand consistency

Partner with Store Operations to review and refine templates for in-store use
