Clay is a global design agency building world-class digital products and brands. Our clients include Slack, Google, Snapchat, Amazon, Coinbase, and many innovative startups. Our diverse team is located in different parts of the world, but the main locations are Europe and the USA.
We are looking for a UI/UX Design Lead to join us remotely or in our office in Serbia and help drive design excellence across projects. This role is perfect for a strong designer who not only creates outstanding user experiences but also thrives on mentoring others, improving processes, and ensuring top-quality delivery for our clients.
What You'll Do

Lead projects from research and discovery to final delivery, ensuring client-ready results;
Review and refine team work, provide constructive feedback, and step in with hands-on support when needed;
Mentor and guide UI/UX Designers, helping them grow and maintaining high design standards;
Take responsibility for client updates – from final design checks to organizing presentation materials;
Improve workflows, optimize design processes, and keep project files and documentation organized;
Validate design estimates and communicate priorities early to support effective project planning;
Oversee design system creation and implementation, ensuring consistency across projects;
Foster a collaborative design culture through guidelines, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
