Regional Fumigation Sales Manager – Americas
We are seeking a Regional Fumigation Sales Manager for our Phosphine Gases Fumigation Business. The role supports all commercial aspects of partner and customer management, works with the Business Development Manager to pursue growth opportunities, and owns the entire sales management process including order processing, forecasting, cash management, complaint handling, pricing, cost analysis, proposal preparation, negotiation, cylinder management, and approvals.

Key Responsibilities

Support the region’s growth plans by driving monthly, quarterly and annual targets (revenue, margin, cash and forecast accuracy).

Work independently with no daily oversight while collaborating within the Fumigation Americas group.

Provide updated monthly, quarterly and year‑end forecasts for all product ranges.

Act as an active regional and global fumigation team member: communicate, write call reports, and attend cross‑functional meetings.

Generate, track and close new opportunities beyond existing business.

Support budgeting for short, mid and long‑term planning.

Build and submit monthly sales reports to the BD manager.

Deliver sales call reports, account plans, opportunity plans and market/competitor data in Salesforce.

Manage DSO and complaint resolution for the assigned region.

Visit partners and customers periodically to support technical and business development.

Develop strong relationships with partners and end‑use customers at field and operational levels.

Investigate potential markets and develop strategic growth plans with the BD manager.

Coordinate customer visits, marketing, advertising and social media projects as directed by the BD manager.

Handle commercial activities: forecasting, contracts, pricing adjustments, order management, complaints and CRM reporting.

Support the cylinder fleet manager in the Americas with cylinder asset management and tracking.

Assist with global fumigation registration and regulatory compliance in Canada.

Key Accountabilities

Achieve or exceed budget figures (revenue, contribution margin, EBITDA, T&E, cash, forecast accuracy).

Understand growth opportunities and competitive position; support medium and long‑term strategic plans.

Operate in full compliance with all Syensqo policies and procedures.

Territory

Geographic responsibility includes all of the Americas, with a focus on Canada and the USA.

Maintain and develop business with key partners and end users.

Visit key customers to support operations and develop opportunities.

Solve customer complaints quickly with syensqo support teams.

Propose commercial actions to win more share at existing accounts.

Support the supply chain team in improving cylinder management.

Manage business with distributors and fumigation service providers.

Safety Responsibilities

Proficiency in the Fumigant Product Stewardship Program and technical/legal aspects.

Follow safety policies: emergency response, visitor safety, housekeeping.

Commitment to safety for self, employees and customers.

Attend required monthly safety training and obtain hazard‑specific training.

Qualifications

College or university degree.

Experience in the agricultural chemical industry (preferred).

Experience in post‑harvest agricultural field (desirable).

Proven ability to manage customer expectations and develop strong partner relationships.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated problem‑solving in commercial contexts.

Technical experience or skills are an asset.

Physical Requirements

Based in the USA or Canada.

3–6 trips per year within North America.

Valid passport and readiness to travel.

Flexibility to cover North American business hours, including outside of standard office hours.
