The primary function of the Account Manager is to be a single resource provider of rental equipment to Brasfield & Gorrie jobs, subcontractors and outside customers. Additional focus is on the sale of equipment, supplies and services that B&G Equipment and Supply offers.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following:
Responsible for creating/maintaining positive customer relations
Responsible for developing key internal relationships across all internal departments and divisions
Manage and develop assigned territory to maximize sales potential and B&G reputation
Visit all customers within a five week cycle
Coordinate and participate in strategic entertainment of customers
Responsible for collecting payment from customers and maintaining accurate customer records
Maintain open communications with Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and Rental Coordinator regarding new equipment/supplies, equipment availability, and rental/sales programs
Responsible for prompt completion of all administrative duties, which include; but are not limited to: Sales Plans, Expense Reports, Sales Reports, and Daily Call Reports
Actively participate in maintaining a professional appearance and TEAM attitude at the B&G location by walking the yard and showroom/warehouse weekly
Promotes products and negotiates rental/sales contracts to achieve assigned rental and sales revenue goals
Enhances customer satisfaction by developing rapport with key decision makers and end users at job sites
Develops and executes strategies to achieve revenue goals that reflect an understanding of market conditions and trends
Employs territory analysis and targeted sales and marketing research to identify top prospects
Addresses customer service issues in the field by managing customer expectations and coordinating with appropriate department within B&G
Qualifications
Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree Business Management or related field coupled with at least 3 years of Sales experience preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to effectively present information to management
Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to successfully engage all levels of customer base
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, or members of the business community
Required to stay up-to-date on industry equipment changes, through continued educationRequires a valid driver license and a clean MVR
