Groundfloor is the neighborhood workspace.

Workspaces have mostly gone one of two ways.

Either pretty transactional coworking or full hustle culture.

We're not really interested in either.

This is a place you can actually spend your day, get your work done, and know the people around you.

We're live in SF, Oakland, San Rafael, and LA.

We're starting in California, building toward something much bigger across the US.

The Work
We're looking for someone to work with the founding team to shape how Groundfloor shows up online.

This isn't a social media manager role.

This is:

What does Groundfloor feel like on the internet, and why would someone want to join because of it? You'll be responsible for figuring that out.

It's a contract engagement. You run your own thing, you set your own hours, you use your own gear. We give you access to the spaces, the members, and the founding team. You give us content that performs.

What You'll Do

Create short-form, UGC-style, testimonial, and lifestyle content that reflects Groundfloor

Develop multiple variations of content (hooks, angles, messaging) for testing

Translate what's happening in the space into creative ideas

Adapt quickly based on performance and what's working

Edit natively for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts

Optimize for hook rate, hold rate, shares, and inbound interest

Maintain organized content libraries and version tracking

Stay current on trends and platform formats

Build repeatable, testable content formats

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience creating short-form video content

Understanding of what drives performance (hooks, retention, conversion)

Ability to iterate based on performance data

Strong editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)

Comfortable shooting independently (phone-first)

Able to develop multiple angles from one idea

Organized and able to handle multiple outputs per week

Self-starter with high ownership

Based in LA or spending real time here

Aligned with a brand that values real, human storytelling

Operating as a sole proprietor or LLC and able to invoice
