Google Ads Specialist (Full-Time | On-Site | Charlotte, NC)
Digital Kings Networking is hiring a
Google Ads Specialist
to build, manage, and scale
Google Ads (Search) and Local Services Ads (LSA)
campaigns for our clients.
This role is focused on driving
real lead flow—calls, form submissions, and booked jobs —not vanity metrics. You’ll be responsible for creating high-performing campaigns that consistently generate results for local service-based businesses.
While this is primarily a
paid advertising role , a strong understanding of
SEO fundamentals
is important to ensure alignment between ads, landing pages, and overall search performance.
This is an
on-site position in Charlotte, NC , working closely with our team to execute and optimize campaigns in real time.
Key Responsibilities
Google Ads & LSA Management
Build and manage
Google Search campaigns
targeting high-intent keywords
Set up, optimize, and maintain
Local Services Ads (LSAs)
Structure campaigns by:
Service type
Keyword intent
Continuously optimize for:
Conversion rate
Manage budgets and scale campaigns based on performance
Monitor and improve
call tracking, form tracking, and attribution
Perform keyword research using tools like
SEMrush
and
SpyFu
Write and test ad copy focused on conversion and intent
Align ads with landing pages for maximum conversion performance
Identify underperforming areas and implement improvements quickly
SEO Awareness (Supporting Role)
Understand basic
on-page SEO principles
to support campaign performance
Clear structure and messaging
Work alongside the SEO team to align
paid and organic strategies
Tracking & Reporting
Set up and manage tracking across:
Google Analytics (GA4)
Call tracking platforms
Build and maintain
reporting dashboards (Looker Studio or similar)
Clearly communicate campaign performance, insights, and next steps
Qualifications
Proven experience managing
Google Ads campaigns (Search required)
Experience with Local Services Ads (LSA)
Ability to walk through your campaign strategy step-by-step
Strong understanding of:
Keyword intent
Ad structure
Conversion tracking
Lead generation strategy
Experience with tools like:
SEMrush ,
SpyFu
Ability to analyze data and make
performance-driven decisions
What Sets You Apart
Experience running ads for
local service-based businesses
(roofing, HVAC, landscaping, etc.)
Strong focus on
lead quality and ROI—not just traffic
Understanding of how Google Ads and SEO work together
Ability to identify issues quickly and implement solutions
Confidence communicating performance and strategy with clients
This role has a clear path to grow into a
Senior Google Ads / Lead Generation Strategist
role as we continue to scale.
Compensation
Pay is based on experience
and performance.
