Position Overview

We’re seeking a highly creative and self-directed Lead Videographer / Photographer to own and elevate our in-house visual content function. This role spans the full production lifecycle from pre-production planning and creative concepting through filming, editing, and final delivery.

You’ll serve as the go-to expert for visual storytelling at PetScreening, partnering cross-functionally to bring ideas to life while also managing studio operations, equipment, and content workflows. This is an individual contributor role ideal for someone who thrives with autonomy and takes pride in producing high-quality, impactful work.

Key Responsibilities

Lead pre-production planning, including concept development, storyboarding, shot lists, location scouting, and production logistics

Partner with marketing, product, and leadership teams to translate business objectives into compelling visual content

Contribute to campaign ideation and creative strategy with a strong storytelling perspective

Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, social media, product marketing, customer testimonials, and internal communications

Capture professional photography, including lifestyle, product, team, and event imagery

Manage all technical aspects of production, including lighting, audio, composition, and post-production editing

Ensure timely delivery of polished, on-brand visual assets

Own the day-to-day management of the in-house studio space, ensuring it is organized, efficient, and always production-ready

Maintain, track, and manage all video and photography equipment inventory (cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, accessories)

Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationships

Evaluate and recommend new gear, tools, and workflows to improve production quality and efficiency

Content Operations & Brand Consistency

Maintain and organize a scalable digital asset library for video and photography

Ensure brand consistency and high creative standards across all visual outputs

Develop and refine production workflows to support efficiency and scalability

Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices, bringing forward new ideas and innovations

Qualifications

4+ years of professional videography and photography experience (in-house or agency)

Strong portfolio demonstrating video storytelling and photography across multiple formats

Proven ability to independently manage projects from concept through delivery

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Lightroom)

Hands‑on experience with camera systems, lighting setups, and audio recording

Experience managing studio environments, production workflows, or equipment inventory

Strong creative judgment and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with B2B, SaaS, or pet‑related brands

Motion graphics or animation skills (e.g., After Effects)

Understanding of social media content formats and platform best practices

Comfort working with animals on set
