Marketing and Sales Specialist

Quantum Design is looking for a Sales and Marketing Specialist who can help turn technical capability into market traction. This is a high-impact role for someone who is organized, proactive, creative, and strong in both communication and commercial execution.

You will support lead generation, sales follow-up, quoting activity, content development, campaign execution, and market outreach across multiple product lines. This is not a passive coordinator role. We need someone who can move work forward, communicate professionally with customers and internal teams, and help create momentum across both sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

Support both sales and marketing efforts across multiple product lines

Research target accounts, vertical markets, and new business opportunities

Help generate and nurture leads through outbound campaigns, follow-up activity, and organized CRM support

Create and update brochures, presentations, email content, social posts, website content, and other sales and marketing materials

Assist with quotes, quote numbers, BOM setup, vendor pricing coordination, and ERP/CRM entry

Set up new customers, prospects, and suspects in company systems

Track marketing activity, website leads, campaign performance, and conversion data

Support trade shows, events, and outside marketing or agency partners

Collaborate with sales, leadership, engineering, and product teams to ensure messaging and outreach align with business goals

Respond professionally to customer and internal inquiries while keeping projects and follow-up moving

Greet and welcome visitors or guests in a friendly, professional manner as soon as they arrive.

Answer incoming phone calls, route them appropriately, take clear messages, and respond to basic questions.

Wage range $24+/hour - depending on experience

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

2+ years of experience in marketing, sales support, inside sales, business development, or a similar role

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong copywriting, proofreading, and content development ability

High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment

Professional presence and strong customer service mindset

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience with Adobe Acrobat

Experience in the following programs/processes is not required, but a plus

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Video Editing Software

Experience with CRM and ERP systems

Experience with social media platforms, email marketing, HTML, Google Analytics, or Google Ads

Experience in manufacturing, automation, engineering, controls, industrial sales, or another technical B2B environment

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
