Video Coordinator, Women’s Basketball
Position description: The Video Coordinator assists the head and assistant women’s basketball coaches in video/film exchange operations. The role includes planning, development, and implementation of a video system program, daily operations of video/film management, compliance with conference and NCAA regulations, filming all games and practices, training coaches and athletes, editing practice and game footage, serving as a resource for visiting teams, maintaining equipment and video library, coordinating video tape exchange, and performing additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and implement a video system program for the women's basketball program.

Perform daily operations of video and film management.

Film all women's basketball games and practices.

Provide ongoing training and development of technical skills related to video programs for coaches and student athletes.

Edit practice and game footage for coaches.

Serve as a resource for visiting team video coordinators.

Maintain a video library and coordinate scheduling and processing of video tape exchanges with other schools.

Maintain and update video equipment; monitor condition and usage.

Assist with organizing on-campus official and unofficial visits and assist in day-to-day operations.

Collaborate with proprietary third‑party software companies for annual maintenance of video analysis and presentation platforms.

Adhere to NCAA rules, regulations, and institutional policies; seek guidance or approval from Athletics Compliance as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Minimum one (1) year of comparable experience in video or related field.

Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.
