Position Overview
We are seeking a Video Production Assistant Intern to support the filming, editing, and storytelling process for the
“Points of Connection” Documentary Series
and live SCN events.
This is a hands‑on opportunity for aspiring videographers, editors, and content creators to build a
professional portfolio
while working on real productions and live event environments.
Key Responsibilities
Video Capture & Production
Assist with filming live events, including networking experiences, conferences, and interviews
Capture behind-the-scenes footage and key moments that tell a compelling story
Support setup and breakdown of video equipment (cameras, lighting, audio)
Assist with shot composition, framing, and creative direction
Documentary Production (Points of Connection)
Help capture interviews with business owners and community leaders
Assist in storytelling development and scene planning
Support organizing footage and maintaining production files
Contribute ideas for visual storytelling and narrative flow
Assist in editing video content for social media, YouTube, and promotional use
Help create highlight reels, recap videos, and short‑form content
Add basic graphics, captions, and transitions
Content & Media Support
Assist with organizing media libraries and footage archives
Support content planning for consistent video output
Collaborate with marketing and PR teams for content alignment
