Senior Web Marketing Manager II - Small Business

The role location is hybrid, performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This role will be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, or New York City.

You’ll collaborate with the Small Business Marketing horizontal team and a core team of Small Business Web Marketing experts to evolve the Website into a User-First Insights Hub strategy that activates insights small businesses genuinely value — positioned to be LinkedIn’s trusted partner and drive adoption of free and paid offerings.

As the web marketer, you’ll oversee the implementation of the Small Business Web roadmap and bring together a cross‑functional team of analytics, content, organic (SEO) growth, program‑management, testing/personalization, UX design, UX research, and web‑production experts to deliver on the Web roadmap.

Responsibilities

Champion the Web team’s vision of Web as a “Web Experience” focused on delivering exceptional UX and conversion.

Accelerate the Web roadmap, building net‑new core‑conversion and SEO‑traffic webpages alongside web agencies and in‑house experts.

Advocate for the prospective buyer as the voice of the customer and for Web best practices as the day‑to‑day lead.

Partner with an embedded Small Business UX Designer to build a new web experience that meets the audience needs.

Plan and monitor web testing (A/B) and personalizations with the Small Business Testing/Optimization expert.

Partner with Organic (SEO) Growth experts and agencies to execute keyword mapping and traffic‑elevation tactics.

Identify critical user‑experience and research opportunities; collaborate with the Web UX Research expert.

Monitor and analyze web performance using Tableau dashboards, Adobe Analytics, etc., and collaborate with Web Analytics experts.

Produce written reports and presentations for stakeholders across BU Growth Marketing, Demand Generation, Product Marketing Management, Brand, and Web.

Identify opportunities and adjustments to the Small Business Web roadmap (new webpages, design or copy enhancements, personalization tests).

Partner with Performance Marketing’s advertising and email experts to drive outbound traffic to core pages.

Ensure the Small Business Website strategy complements other BU websites focused on advertising, hiring, learning, and selling specialty products.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, English, or a related field.

8+ years of digital marketing or marketing‑communications experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Flexibility to join periodic, pre‑planned calls at 8‑9 a.m. PT or 4‑6 p.m. CT to accommodate partners in India, Ireland, and/or the U.S. West Coast.

Experience delivering external, customer‑facing digital content, thought‑leadership hubs, and/or web designs with independent editorial and design recommendations.

Experience working with a Small Business audience (consultancy, family business, startup with 1‑50 employees).

Detail‑oriented self‑starter with strong time‑management, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to operate in ambiguity.

Professional experience at an Enterprise‑sized company (1,000+ employees) or with an Enterprise client.

Comfort leading a cross‑functional team via influence strategies in a product‑owner‑like capacity.

Data‑first mindset with a desire to learn new tools (Adobe Analytics, Tableau).

Experience with a technical product or service.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment with a diverse global team.

Business acumen to balance multiple business, channel, and user priorities with empathy.

Availability to work in‑person 2 days/week at a LinkedIn office (Chicago, NYC, San Francisco, or Sunnyvale) if required by hybrid policy.
