Summary, Focus and Purpose
We are recruiting for an Operational Coach (Lead) position within the Central Services department of our Production Operations Team. The Operational Coach will primarily support the team by focusing on leadership and coaching at the team level, as well as productivity and performance within the scope of their own team.
Key Functions
Employee Development & Leadership

Provide coaching and support skills development and process capabilities within the team.
Support effective feedback and coaching during the performance management cycle.
Ensure all operators receive appropriate training for all assigned tasks.
Support effective performance management of individuals in the team.
Safety & Quality Compliance
Demonstrate a strong compliance mindset (EHS and quality) and continuously set high standards.
Follow safe operating instructions for all tasks and equipment.
Ensure the right tools and equipment are available and utilized.
Ensure correct personal protective equipment is available and utilized.
Follow up any reported defects or hazards immediately.
Report all accidents, incidents and near misses within 24 hours and participate in investigations.
Support the on‑time completion of quality compliance tasks related to deviation, CAPA, and change control management.
Be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance including cGMP, RFT, and good documentation practices and provide coaching to others.
Support the update, review and approval of GMP documentation such as SOPs and MDs.
Productivity
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedule adherence of production activities.
Build and maintain strong collaborations with stakeholders throughout site operations such as BTS, engineering, quality, and R&D.
Support manufacturing operations teams in creating a culture of continuous improvement and lead by example.
Support initiatives for stabilizing and improving production processes.
Support effective application of Lean Six Sigma, project management, and change management tools.
Drive facilitation of an effective Tier 1 meeting, including, but not limited to:
Visual status of training within the department.
Visual status of completion of compliance tasks.
Visual status of schedule adherence.
Communication of key issues impacting the team.
Financial
Recognize and investigate opportunities for financial savings.
Required Education & Experience
Required: High school diploma with three (3) years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing role.
Preferred: BSc degree in a relevant scientific discipline with two (2) years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing role.

Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office‑based positions in the U.S. will be working a hybrid model of three days on‑site per week (Monday–Thursday; specific days may vary by site) and remote work on Friday, unless business‑critical tasks require on‑site presence. This model does not apply to field‑based, facility‑based, manufacturing‑based, research‑based, or collective‑bargaining‑agreement positions, or roles designated as remote.
