The Operations Technician position is available at our Company's Animal Health facility in Worthington, Minnesota. The Worthington facility is expanding operations to manufacture vaccines for large and companion animals. Leveraging an experienced and innovative team environment, the key technologies at the site are biologics production using fermentation and cell culture platforms and filling and freeze-drying.
Responsibilities and Duties
This job requires working in a cleanroom and wearing cleanroom garments.
The Position requires wearing scrubs when working in the production area.
Running steam sterilizers, filling lines, freeze dryers, environmental monitoring machines, crimping machines, and a dry heat oven.
Preparing and cleaning equipment.
Cleaning and disinfecting clean rooms.
Good communication, document, and computer skills are required.
You will work individually or with other people.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
Experience And Skills
Experience working in a lab or manufacturing of Biologics or assembly line work highly preferred.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures preferred.
Shift
1st shift – various days depending on Production schedule. Will include weekend work.
