Role Description
The Video Producer will create compelling video content that communicates, inspires, and promotes Dunwoody Baptist Church’s mission to Love God, Love People, Make Disciples, and Make A Difference. This role supports worship services, ministries, and outreach efforts through storytelling, live production, and high‑quality video content. The Video Producer works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to deliver consistently excellent productions that engage people and encourage spiritual growth.

Responsibilities and Job Duties
The Video Producer is the primary creative and technical resource for video production at DBC. The following list highlights key responsibilities of this role:

Content Creation & Storytelling

Create engaging, high‑quality videos for Sunday morning services, ministries, and special events.

Develop videos that tell meaningful stories, convey emotion, and welcome, inform, and inspire audiences.

Schedule, record, edit, and deliver videos for announcements, promotions, web use, social media, sermon bumpers, training, and special events.

Collaborate with ministerial staff to develop video strategies and creative campaigns.

Live Production & Technical Insight

Produce and manage livestream broadcasts for the 8:30 and 11:00am Sunday services and special events.

Upload all Sunday morning video content to ProPresenter and Pro Video Player by the end of the workday on Thursday.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot video production equipment and integrated systems, including cameras, switchers, routers, recorders, encoders, and intercom systems.

Create and maintain video production checklists to ensure consistency and excellence.

Equipment, Volunteers, & Budget

Manage and maintain all video production equipment.

Recruit, train, and support volunteers for live video production.

Provide recommendations for the annual video production budget.

Manage expenditures, obtain proposals, secure best pricing, and consult with appropriate budget managers to ensure responsible use of resources.

Coordination & Administration

Attend monthly Church Staff meetings and collaborate with staff across ministries.

Confer with the Production Director regarding livestream needs for church events, weddings, funerals, and special events.

Arrange for qualified replacement personnel when unable to fulfill video production responsibilities.

Desired Education & Experience

Associate’s degree in video, film production, journalism, broadcast media, or equivalent experience.

2–4 years of relevant video production experience.

Proficiency in video camera operation, audio capture, and lighting for video.

Proficiency in video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.

Working knowledge of motion graphics and design tools such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Experience with ProPresenter, Pro Video Player, and Bitfocus Companion preferred.

Knowledge of integrated live production systems including video switchers, routers, patch bays, livestream encoders, NDI, and intercom systems.

Basic understanding of audio, lighting, and networking systems.

Preferred experience with For.A and Blackmagic video switchers and hardware.
