Director of Brand Partnerships - Talent Agency - Los Angeles (Hybrid/Remote)

What you will be doing
In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for owning and scaling this talent agency’s brand partnerships function. You will lead from the front in securing high-value partnerships with leading brands across the US and globally, while building the strategy, processes, and relationships that drive sustained revenue growth. This is a player-coach position, combining hands-on deal-making with leadership and strategic oversight.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the brand partnerships revenue strategy, setting targets and delivering against clear commercial goals
- Lead proactive outreach and secure high-value partnerships through creative, talent-led pitching and strong market positioning
- Build and manage senior relationships with brand-side stakeholders, acting as the key commercial point of contact
- Oversee the full partnership lifecycle from initial outreach through to negotiation, execution, and post-campaign performance analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally, develop internal processes, and support team growth to scale the partnerships function effectively
- Look to grow the brand partnerships team and manage existing staff
Requirements
- Significant experience in brand partnerships, talent management or influencer marketing
- Proven track record of securing and closing high-value partnerships and driving revenue growth
- Strong existing network of brand-side contacts across relevant sectors (e.g. fashion, beauty, lifestyle, tech)
- Highly proactive and commercially driven, with a strong outbound mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to build scalable processes and systems
- Experience leading or mentoring teams within a fast-paced environment
- Passion for the talent industry and a strong instinct for identifying high-impact opportunities
