Role Summary

CultureSpace, a leading firm in the commercial office design industry, is expanding its presence and is in search of a Business Development Executive. This role is best suited for someone who thrives on in-person networking, proactive prospecting, and identifying new business opportunities.

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving pipeline growth through proactive prospecting, relationship development, and consistent networking activity. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, qualifying leads, and generating a high volume of discovery meetings for the Project Consultant team.
As a developing business development professional, the BD Executive builds market knowledge, refines communication skills, and increases independence in managing relationships and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Opportunity Identification

Identify and engage new prospects to uncover opportunities across existing and emerging business verticals
Research companies, projects, and industry activity to prioritize high-potential leads
Build and maintain a growing pipeline of qualified opportunities
Relationship Development & Networking

Develop and nurture relationships with industry contacts and strategic partners through consistent, high-volume networking
Actively participate in industry events, associations, and community engagements
Build credibility and visibility within the Commercial Real Estate ecosystem
Lead Qualification & Meeting Generation

Qualify leads through effective research, outreach, and initial conversations
Schedule and coordinate a high volume of discovery meetings for the Project Consultant team
Ensure opportunities are well-vetted and aligned before handoff
CRM Management & Organization

Accurately document all leads, contacts, and activity within the CRM system
Develop strong habits around tracking, prioritization, and follow-up
Maintain organized account profiles to support team visibility and collaboration
Marketing & Event Support

Support BD leadership in the execution of quarterly marketing and business development plans
Assist in preparation and coordination of events, presentations, and client engagement initiatives
Contribute ideas for outreach and engagement strategies
Communication & Professional Development

Develop the ability to confidently communicate CultureSpace’s value proposition and product offerings
Support presentations to small and mid-sized groups alongside senior team members
Demonstrate professionalism and strong interpersonal skills in all client and industry interactions
Team Contribution & Culture

Collaborate with BD team members to share insights, leads, and best practices
Demonstrate alignment with CultureSpace’s core values
Act as a positive and proactive representative of the brand in the market
Minimum Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in business development, marketing, networking, or related field
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage multiple priorities
Experience interacting with professionals in a business environment (client-facing experience preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through
Proactive, coachable, and eager to learn
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned market
