About the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on Marketing Manager to join Lightning Reach on a 10-month maternity cover. This is a high-impact role with ownership across both B2B and B2C marketing, working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and other business areas. There is potential for this position to become permanent, depending on business needs and performance.

Responsibilities
Marketing Ownership & Execution:
Lead the development and delivery of Lightning Reach’s B2B and B2C marketing strategy, working cross-functionally to align stakeholders and drive measurable outcomes.
Content & Messaging:
Own content creation and messaging across channels, producing high-quality B2B and B2C content (including LinkedIn, website, campaigns, and sales materials) to drive engagement, traffic, and conversion.
Campaigns, Channels & Performance:
Plan, execute, and optimise multi‑channel campaigns (including LinkedIn), using data to test, learn, and improve performance, while managing budgets and tracking ROI.
Lead Generation & Sales Enablement (B2B focus):
Build and optimise the sales funnel to generate high-quality leads, manage HubSpot, and create impactful sales enablement materials such as decks, demo videos, and supporting assets.
User Growth & Customer Marketing (B2C focus):
Drive user growth through existing customers by delivering customer communications, marketing materials, and user-focused content. Test new strategies for user growth.
Website & SEO:
Own website maintenance, including creation of new pages, maintaining content, and SEO optimisation.
Projects & Stakeholder Management:
Lead marketing projects end‑to‑end, coordinating internal stakeholders and ensuring delivery against timelines and objectives.
Data, Reporting & Insights:
Define and track KPIs, analyse campaign and channel performance, and report on outcomes to inform wider business decisions.
Brand, Events & Communications:
Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, while supporting the delivery of webinars, events, case studies, testimonials, and social media planning.
Requirements
Comfortable owning the marketing function end‑to‑end:
able to take ideas from concept through to execution and delivery across both B2B and B2C.
A strong executor:
able to manage multiple campaigns, channels, and priorities simultaneously, delivering high-quality work at pace.
A confident content creator:
able to develop clear, compelling messaging and produce content across different formats and audiences.
Data‑led in approach:
regularly analyses performance, draws insights, and uses them to optimise campaigns and inform decisions.
Experienced in managing campaigns and channels:
able to plan, test, and iterate across platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, email, website), with a focus on measurable impact.
Collaborative and cross‑functional:
works effectively with Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to align messaging and deliver shared goals.
Adaptable and hands‑on:
willing to get stuck into both strategic thinking and execution, including lower‑lift or operational tasks when needed.
Mission‑aligned:
motivated by building something that supports people facing financial challenges and creates meaningful impact.
Nice to have
Experience across both B2B and B2C marketing
Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing automation tools
Experience running paid campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn, Google Ads)
SEO and website optimisation experience
Experience in a startup or scaling environment
