Job Title: Media Relations Coordinator

Pay: $22-$24/hr (depending on experience)

Work Schedule: 25 hours per week, 9:00 AM-2:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch). Core collaboration hours 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. Hybrid schedule with Tuesdays onsite and one additional flexible onsite day per week.

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking a Media Relations Coordinator to support a busy communications leadership team. This role focuses on day-to-day media monitoring, coordination of incoming press activity, and supporting internal reporting efforts to ensure timely and accurate distribution of media coverage insights.

This is a highly deadline-driven role with daily deliverables each morning, making schedule reliability and consistency essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage incoming media inquiries and route appropriately
Compile, organize, and distribute daily news clips and media coverage updates to internal teams
Support the preparation and formatting of internal media relations reports
Assist the communications team in maintaining visibility on press activity and media trends
Provide general administrative and coordination support to the media relations function
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience supporting a media relations, communications, or PR team
Strong familiarity with media monitoring, news clipping, or reporting processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using social media platforms
Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills
Ability to manage time-sensitive daily deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Spanish language skills a plus
