Production Technician

* Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures* Delivers products to customers and responsible for returning all completed delivery paperwork to the branch in a timely and accurate manner* Assembles products to company, customer and manufacturer’s standards* Performs all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction* Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse.* Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping* Operates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable)* Assists with physical inventory* Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements* Perform other duties as trained and qualified for* Applicants should possess the ability to interact with team members in a professional manner* Must have good communication skills* Requires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure* Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools* Basic computer skills preferred, including email and internet* Must be 21 years of age or older* A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record* 1-3 years of related warehousing or production experience* A high school diploma or GED* Reliable transportation is a must* Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment* Ability to work nights and weekends, as required* Ability to work overtime, as required* Background checks and drug screening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law)* Industrial setting experience* B2B Delivery experience desiredThis position includes a mix of warehouse and customer site environments. These environments may involve exposure to a range of environmental conditions including fluctuating temperatures (both hot and cold), varying noise levels, exposure to dust, and other typical elements of an active industrial environment.
