Role Summary:

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Customer Fleet Specialist (CFS) to support the China Region. The CFS will work closely with Customer Fleet Directors and Customer Focus Teams to drive customer satisfaction by managing issues the customer may experience operating and maintaining P&W products. Duties will include technical and business responsibilities and will involve direct interface with the airline customer.

What You Will Do

Technical duties will entail supporting the CFD and the FSRs (Field Service Representatives) in the following areas:

Developing and maintaining shop visit forecasts for customer specific P&W powered fleets.

Working with the customer, P&W, the airframers and other related organizations to develop and execute fleet management plans aimed at resolving fleet technical issues. Assisting in communicating plans and coordinating resources required to mitigate operational disruptions and AOGs.

Proactively managing emerging fleet technical issues.

Preparation of technical presentations.

Special “stretch” projects.

Business related duties include supporting CFD and Sales Director in the following areas:

Managing the customer relationship to ensure seamless service, measuring customer satisfaction using formal and informal feedback. Driving internal action plans and providing customer input to address and resolve issues.

Working closely with P&W Engine Services in the management of Fleet Management Plans (FMPs) and other long-term agreements.

Developing support proposals with the customer, PW Sales and internal teams to address non-contractual concessionary claims.

Identifying and communicating sales and service opportunities to appropriate business units and sales directors.

Engaging with CBO Culture Council, weekly CFD meetings, Field Rep Council and other CBO forums.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor Degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience; or an Advanced degree with 3 years of experience, to include the following:

Commercial aerospace business knowledge

Solid understanding of the commercial engine business, including turbofan design, development, operation or overhaul/repair

Preferred Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis to support both internal and external customers.

Ability to manage shifting priorities in a timely manner.

Ability to influence across the organization as related to customer needs and priorities.

Fluent in Mandarin

Benefits and Other Details
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, experience, location, education, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off and holidays. Benefits vary by business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual incentive compensation programs depending on position level and collective-bargaining status. Payments are not guaranteed and depend on performance and other factors.
