Role Summary
The Director – Procurement Operations leads all in-country procurement activities, ensuring alignment with global standards and driving operational excellence across Source-to-Pay (S2P).
This role is responsible for transformation initiatives, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and delivering measurable business value through efficient procurement processes .
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder & Leadership Management
Act as the country lead for Procurement, engaging senior leadership, global teams, and suppliers
Drive budget planning and forecasting with Supply Chain leadership
Ensure compliance with SOX/GxP controls and lead audit readiness
Represent country in global governance and performance forums
Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance
2. Organizational Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing procurement team
Drive talent development, succession planning, and workforce strategy
Foster a strong culture of performance, engagement, and accountability
3. Operational Governance
Own procurement reporting, KPIs, and performance metrics
Ensure compliance with global procurement standards and audit requirements
Drive cost savings, working capital improvements, and service delivery targets
4. Transformation & Change
Lead procurement transformation initiatives (e.g., Ariba, PTP productivity programs)
Drive adoption of global systems and processes locally
Manage large-scale change initiatives and ensure business impact
Oversee implementation of digital tools and process improvements
5. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory standards, and audit controls
Manage supplier risk, ESG compliance, and governance frameworks
Maintain Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field (advanced degree preferred)
10+ years of procurement/supply chain experience, with leadership experience
Strong knowledge of S2P processes, procurement governance, and global standards
Experience with SAP (S/4HANA/ECC), Ariba, and analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau)
Expertise in sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier management
Proven leadership in transformation, change management, and cross-functional collaboration
