Overview
The Hospitality Sales Account Manager is a home-based position responsible for driving Lutron’s growth across strategic brands with HQ or presence in North America. In this role, you will have a strategic focus on key luxury hotel brands and developers. This role is especially critical in capitalizing on the accelerated hospitality development through adoption of our technology and early access to brand pipelines. You will support the global reach of these brands and complement regional closing strategy teams.

In this role, you will build trusted relationships with brands and key developers in the region to promote the standardization of Lutron’s intelligent lighting, lighting controls, temperature controls, and shading solutions; generate demand; and secure early‑stage specification on flagship hotel and mixed‑use projects. Deep cultural understanding, proven business etiquette, and sensitivity to regional cultural protocols are essential in establishing credibility and long‑term partnerships.

Success in this role will require close collaboration with internal teams—across sales, marketing, and business development—to tailor strategies that align with regional priorities, such as world events that drive tourism growth (World Cup, Olympics, etc.) and luxury tourism investment in key pockets. The ultimate objective is to enhance Lutron’s influence with top‑tier hotel brands, increase project conversion rates, and support repeat business through relationship‑driven engagement. You will be focused on growing business development with identified brands and gaining access to key development groups.
