Account Executive, Membership Sales

The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as an Account Executive, Membership Sales. This entry-level position is perfect for someone passionate about sales and eager to launch their career in the sports industry.
As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be generating new business revenue by prospecting and building relationships through cold-calling, networking, and in-person appointments. You'll focus on selling season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and premium inventory. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while contributing to the success of our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Meet or exceed daily call and appointment expectations
Prospect, establish, research and close ticket sales leads through cold-calling, in-person appointments and networking
Effectively execute sales campaigns and trainings
Consistently enter client data into CRM and Archtics ticketing system
Maintain high level of customer service to existing and new clients
Maintain and develop industry-standard sales skills
Consistently maintain a strong sales pipeline and display the capability to manage a sales pipeline effectively
Perform basic office functions as needed
Other duties assigned by manager
Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities

To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or related field
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Present yourself in a professional manner as you interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders
Ability to quickly and effectively establish rapport and build new relationships
Interpersonal skills listens to others, works well in a team environment
Willingness to learn, receive coaching and be competitive
Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
Planning and organizing, can prioritize work activities; uses time efficiently
Flexibility adapts to change in the work environment and manages competing demands
Dependability consistently at work on time and responds to manager's instructions
Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays and travel as needed
