Job Summary:
The Production Technician is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and supporting production processes in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role involves working on activities such as solution preparation, cell culture, purification, and formulation while following strict SOPs and documentation practices.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate processing equipment according to established SOPs, MPRs, & SPRs in compliance with cGMP standards
Perform manufacturing-related activities including solution preparation, cell culture, purification, and formulation
Train under qualified technicians to operate process equipment and meet qualification requirements
Follow and execute cGMP documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for production activities
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving non-routine production issues
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements
Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional teams
Perform other duties as assigned
0–1 year of experience with a High School Diploma
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Basic understanding of cGMP standards and regulated environments
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Basic computer skills
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (day or night)
BS/BA degree preferred (STEM field such as Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
Prior exposure to cGMP, aseptic, or cleanroom environments
Internship or academic lab experience in biotech/pharma manufacturing
