As the Temporary Director of Commerce, you are an absolute Retail Rockstar thriving in the fast-moving, demanding environment that is media strategy, planning and activation. You love agency account management and establishing strong trusting relationships with clients, retail partners, and internal stakeholders. You are not afraid to have a strong POV or to challenge legacy ways of working. You are open to receiving and giving feedback across teams as we constantly iterate to identify the best, most effective and efficient ways of working and process.
Integrated Strategy Collaboration:
Coordinate closely with Integrated Planning, eCommerce (Flywheel), and Digital Activation teams to ensure seamless integration of brand and eCommerce media strategies
Support IAT strategic planning deliverables by embedding eCommerce thinking across audience, communications, and holistic strategic approaches
Collaborate with Planning Leadership to integrate retail media inputs, including JBP commitments, distribution priorities, key retailers, category insights, and KPIs
Incorporate eCommerce considerations into growth audience development, insights, and targeting as part of a unified audience framework
Drive connectivity and visibility between brand media initiatives (e.g., launches, high-impact placements, special activations, new creative) and eCommerce media moments (e.g., retailer tentpoles, product launches)
Full-Funnel eCommerce Media Leadership
Define and implement ways of working that strengthen integration between upper- and lower-funnel media strategies
Champion full-funnel connectivity by establishing best practices and leading education across internal teams
Partner with retailer partners to identify and activate opportunities across the full funnel
Lead the development of full-funnel media approaches with key retail partners
Collaborate with Flywheel to develop Retail "Big Ideas" as part of the annual planning process
Retailer Paid Social & Platform Consulting
Lead paid social planning consultation for retailer social media campaigns
Audit retailer social media capabilities and identify high-impact opportunities aligned to client goals
Provide strategic guidance on retailer-specific social platforms and formats
Thought Leadership, Collaboration & Governance
Attend key retailer meetings, joint business planning sessions, and QBRs
Support the development of eCommerce briefing frameworks and tactical planning templates
In partnership with the EUNA eCommerce team, share industry-led POVs and thought leadership on commerce advancements, platforms, and strategic partnerships
Collaborate with OMD Marketing Science and Flywheel teams to advance full-funnel reporting, measurement frameworks, and learning agendas
Partner with the OMG Center of Excellence to identify and activate new technology integrations and omni-channel use cases that deliver incremental business value

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Compensation Range
$2,500-$3,500 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
