Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Executive Communications (Global Scope)
Support the development and execution of executive communications for the CEO and senior leadership team
Draft and refine messaging for global internal and external engagements, including speeches, events, and high-visibility forums
Translate leadership priorities into clear, compelling narratives that reinforce Lenovo's innovation leadership and corporate strategy
Strategic Communications Planning & Execution
Contribute to the development and implementation of global communication strategies aligned with Lenovo's brand, values, and business priorities
Develop messaging frameworks and content that scale across regions, functions, and audiences
Ensure alignment and consistency of messaging across corporate, product, and regional communications.
Cross-Functional & Matrix Leadership
Partner with Business Groups (BGs), Lenovo Research, Global Supply Chain (GSC), PR, and regional teams to drive integrated communications
Operate effectively within a complex, matrixed global organization, influencing without direct authority
Serve as a key liaison across internal stakeholders and external partners/agencies
Content Development & Storytelling
Develop high-impact content including executive narratives, key messages, briefing materials, and thought leadership assets
Translate complex technical and business concepts (e.g., AI, innovation) into accessible and engaging communications
Media & Spokesperson Readiness
Prepare executives and spokespersons for media engagements and public appearances
Develop briefing materials, Q&A, and messaging guidance to ensure consistency and effectiveness
Reputation Management & Market Insights
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and media environment to identify risks and opportunities
Provide insights and recommendations to support proactive reputation management and positioning
Campaigns & Global Initiatives
Support execution of global campaigns, product launches, and corporate initiatives
Contribute to stakeholder engagement strategies that elevate Lenovo's brand and thought leadership
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to enhance communications through new tools, channels, and approaches
Leverage insights, including AI-related content and use cases, to drive more effective storytelling
Brand Stewardship
Serve as a steward of Lenovo's global brand, ensuring all communications reflect consistent voice, tone, and positioning
Maintain deep understanding of Lenovo's strategy, portfolio, and market positioning
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field
3-5+ years of experience in corporate communications, executive communications, or public relations
Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization preferred
Technology industry experience strongly preferred
Advanced writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect communications to business outcomes
Ability to manage complexity and multiple stakeholders across regions and functions
Executive presence and ability to interact effectively with senior leadership
Strong collaboration and influencing skills without direct authority
Interest and familiarity with AI, computing, and emerging technologies
Ability to translate technical concepts into business-relevant messaging
High attention to detail and strong execution discipline
Proactive, self-directed, and able to operate with ambiguity
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
