Director of Football Scouting

Under the guidance of the General Manager will assist all recruiting efforts while adhering to NCAA, Mid-American Conference, University and departmental rules and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Player Personnel to provide evaluations on prospective student-athletes
Establish and maintain effective relationships with coaches and individuals associated with prospective student-athletes
Help implement recruiting and communication plans for prospective student-athletes
Help maintain the football recruiting databases and ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
Assist with official and unofficial visits to campus and scouting visits.
Assist the Director of Football Operations with other administrative duties associated with practice, competition, and football related events and projects as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (by start date)
Previous experience with an intercollegiate athletic program (in any capacity)
Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends, and travel out of town.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of ARMS, Catapult, DVSport, Hudl, Whistle, PFF, and Zcruit
Proficient in the use of social media for communication and recruiting plans.
Possess outstanding customer service and community relations skills and the ability to communicate (verbally and written) and work effectively with a wide range of constituents.
Strong working knowledge of all NCAA rules and regulations with an emphasis on recruiting bylaws
Must possess the ability to meet project deadlines and work under time constraint and pressure.
Technical football knowledge including terminology, schemes, and procedures that are used in football.
A criminal background check is required. All campuses are smoke- and tobacco-free campuses.
