A little about the position:

Job Summary

Latham has the opportunity to grow significant revenue and share in the Fiberglass and Auto Cover segments with specific focus in Sand States, representing more than 60% of all new pool installations in the United States.

Latham is seeking a Marketing Specialist to focus on driving brand awareness and conversion in these focused and concentrated areas with a primary focus on Florida and eventual expansion into Texas, California, Arizona and Nevada.

In this newly created role, the Marketing Specialist will work directly with the Fiberglass & Auto Cover Brand Managers and VP of Marketing to execute campaigns targeting homeowners in these focused regions and within master planned communities which represents significant opportunity for new home construction.

The position has a broad range of brand marketing responsibilities that require proficiency in:

Local Marketing Campaign Execution

Broad understanding of the digital media landscape

Local market targeting, event planning and execution

Co‑marketing development & execution with strategic Pool Builder partners

Cross‑functional collaboration

Budget management

Agency management

Some of What You Will Do
Local Market Campaign Execution

Assist Brand Managers and VP of Marketing in executing local marketing campaigns in both on and offline channels.

Work with PR agency to vet opportunities to drive the Latham brand with key media and design industry influencers.

Gain deep knowledge of the market including competition, pool builders and dynamics of key targeted master planned communities.

Uncover and execute grassroot marketing opportunities within key markets and master planned communities i.e. local advertising opportunities, sponsorships, events.

Support sales teams in working with strategic pool builder partners to develop and execute co‑marketing activities.

Monitor the competitive landscape.

Uncover opportunities for partnerships that allow Latham to penetrate and add value to local market opportunities.

Direct agency resources.

Consumer Insights and Category Knowledge

Extract insights from a wide range of internal and external sources to inform marketing decisions and create opportunities for growth.

Expert understanding of category including consumer and builder landscape, competition and product landscape.

Integrated Marketing

Work collaboratively with internal marketing cross functions & external agency partners (Channel Marketing, PR, Digital) to execute annual local activation plans.

Monitor and measure results vs. KPIs.

What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business‑related field required.

5+ years marketing experience in Consumer Goods, preferably with B2B2C and B2C experience.

Ability to quickly assess and execute the logistical components of bringing a marketing plan to life.

Expertise in social media and online marketing.

Full proficiency in understanding grassroots and event marketing.

Expert knowledge of how to connect and communicate with a variety of market segments.

Ability to extract and present useful information from post‑campaign analysis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Up to 25% travel required.

This position is remote but desired candidate will live in Florida, preferably in the Tampa market with the ability to travel within the state of Florida as needed . Scope will eventually expend to additional regions i.e. Texas and will require periodic travel within that region.

Some nights and weekends required.

Salary Range:

Disclosure as required by applicable state law, the annual salary range for this position is $75,000-$92,000.This is Latham Pool’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.

Bonus:

MIB-Tier 4 - 7.5% of base pay
