We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Developer to support a mission-critical government program. You will design, develop, test, and maintain PeopleSoft HCM applications, focusing on secure, scalable, and compliant software solutions. The role involves supporting system integration, data conversions, reporting, and PeopleSoft implementations/upgrades. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and system architecture, with a proven ability to deliver in collaborative, multi-disciplinary environments. Key responsibilities include designing and developing PeopleSoft HCM components, leading technical solution design and implementation, creating and maintaining functional and technical design documentation, performing unit testing, issue resolution, and system integration testing, translating business challenges into effective technical solutions, developing and executing complex SQL queries and custom modules, conducting vulnerability research and penetration testing for secure application design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, and ensuring compliance with software standards and secure coding practices.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline, minimum 7+ years of PeopleSoft development experience, at least 10 years of total technical experience in large-scale system design and production support, hands-on experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or higher, proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, SQR, and Application Designer, experience in writing technical design documents and test plans, strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, and ability to work in Agile or IPT (Integrated Product Team) environments. Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
Desired qualifications include experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, past participation in large-scale ERP implementations within federal or defense environments, demonstrated experience in customer-focused, collaborative technical teams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, familiarity with Portal Technology and Workflow integration.
