Job Description
Our client, a mission-driven media organization, is seeking an Interim Marketing Manager, Audience Growth to lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, web, events, broadcast, and emerging platforms. This is a 12-month assignment with potential for extension.

This role supports audience growth, engagement, retention, and brand visibility through strategic campaign planning and hands‑on execution. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, audience-focused, and comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage multi‑channel marketing campaigns

Create campaign briefs, messaging, timelines, and audience strategies

Execute campaigns across Social media, Web/CMS platforms, Podcasts and streaming promotions, Events and community initiatives, Broadcast and digital channels

Manage social media calendars, scheduling, and engagement

Coordinate campaign assets, vendors, and promotional materials

Maintain website and campaign‑related updates

Audience Growth & Reporting

Monitor campaign performance and audience engagement trends

Optimize messaging, targeting, and timing based on analytics

Support audience retention and conversion efforts

Prepare performance updates and reporting summaries for leadership

Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with editorial, programming, operations, development, and audience teams.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external marketing partners.

Support audience‑first marketing and engagement initiatives.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Media or brand marketing

Strong campaign management and project coordination skills

Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities

Experience with Social media tools, CMS/CRM systems, Analytics and reporting platforms

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Preferred Background

Experience supporting mission‑driven organizations, nonprofits, media, membership, or public‑facing brands

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field
