Digital Media Specialist – responsible for creating high‑quality video and photography content for the Advancement department and other areas, and managing social media channels to enhance enrollment and donor engagement.
Responsibilities
Execute high‑quality video and photography projects within specific budgets and timelines.
Develop content plans, shoot and edit video/photos on strict deadlines.
Manage pre‑production work: script writing/selection, casting, staging.
Coordinate production, camera, lighting, audio, and support staff.
Create complementary graphics and captions to enhance the final product.
In coordination with the Digital Marketing Manager and the Digital Media Team, create and manage the social media content calendar.
Track social media metrics and recommend areas of improvement.
Evaluate and recommend new AV products and technologies.
Contribute creative ideas to better engage audiences in a collaborative team environment.
Support students in additional commitments such as spiritual life, academics, athletics, student activities, and campus life.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media, Film and Video Production, Multimedia Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum two years of professional or avocational content creation experience, especially for social media.
Proven ability to propose creative ideas and willingness to learn new skills.
Strong project management skills.
Proven attention to detail and follow‑up.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to operate latest cameras and filmmaking equipment.
Computer skills: MS Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign) or comparable software, major social media platforms.
Portfolio of work will be requested.
