Job Description
We're looking for a Business Development Associate to join our Notified Sales team. The role is primarily onsite at 770 N. Halsted but can be hybrid remote (WFH Monday and Friday) for those who reach goals for two consecutive months.

This role pays $24.04 per hour plus commissions. The annual commission target is $30,000 with the ability to earn additional commissions for exceeding target.

The Business Development Associate is the entry point to a rewarding career at Notified. Working directly with Sales Executives – New Logo Hunters and Account Managers – you will develop sales opportunities and book qualified sales meetings.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
The role requires a commercial mindset, natural tenacity, and a "work hard, play hard" mentality. You will research contacts, prepare pitches, and close prospects to secure their first meeting while maintaining a casual, fun feel.

Your Task Would Include

Developing sales opportunities through extensive cold‑calling activities and other outreach tactics to turn prospective customers into qualified sales opportunities

Maintaining established daily call volumes – work‑hard, play‑hard mentality needed

Carefully and accurately documenting leads and appointments through our CRM, ensuring Salesforce.com hygiene so you can accurately forecast and track how your meetings are turning into deals

Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, marketing, or a related field

1+ years of lead generation, sales, or marketing experience (or applicable experience with lead generation, cold calling, networking, or other external outreach efforts)

B2B technology sales experience preferred

Great communication skills – you must love talking to people, as this job requires you to be on the phone constantly

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Basic knowledge of sales theories and techniques and ability to deal tactfully and courteously with clients

Strong verbal, written, and communication skills

Ability to work both individually and with a team
