Position Overview
The Communications Manager will lead strategic communications execution to strengthen brand visibility, messaging clarity, and organizational professionalism. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role is responsible for independently managing brand consistency, campaign performance, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate brings strong strategic communications capability and the ability to translate data into measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Audit and elevate organizational messaging to align with executive leadership expectations

Develop and implement a structured communications calendar with measurable KPIs

Manage website content, newsletters, promotional emails, and digital storytelling initiatives

Track engagement metrics using Google Analytics and SEO tools and present findings to leadership

Coordinate media outreach, interviews, and public‑facing communications efforts

Maintain brand standards and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors

Qualifications

Strategic communications execution experience

Professional written and verbal executive‑level presence

Ability to independently manage brand consistency and messaging direction

Proficiency in WordPress, Google Analytics, SEO tools, email marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office

Experience managing social media campaigns and performance tracking

Compensation

$36.06 per hour

40 hours per week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, some flexibility)

Onsite position in Sacramento, CA
