Turn2Partners is hiring: Senior Writer in Washington

Serve as a lead strategic writer supporting senior organizational leadership
Draft executive communications including thought leadership pieces, speeches, talking points, statements, briefing materials, and internal/external messaging
Contribute to both proactive communications planning and time-sensitive response efforts
Track media and cultural trends to identify opportunities for strategic positioning and audience engagement
Review and edit communications materials to ensure consistency, clarity, tone, and alignment with organizational priorities
Maintain and evolve messaging frameworks, editorial standards, and voice consistency across teams
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including communications, people/culture, and executive leadership on nuanced messaging initiatives
Develop communications resources, templates, and guidance materials for internal stakeholders and partners
Support storytelling initiatives that elevate diverse perspectives and community-centered narratives
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in communications, content strategy, public affairs, media relations, advocacy, or related fields
Exceptional writing and editing skills with experience producing executive-level and public-facing content
Demonstrated ability to adapt tone and write authentically on behalf of senior leaders
Strong command of editorial standards and meticulous attention to detail
Understanding of media dynamics, audience engagement, and strategic narrative development
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
Proven discretion and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive matters
Commitment to inclusive communications practices and values-driven work environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in mission-driven, advocacy, nonprofit, coalition, or public affairs environments
Background supporting senior executives or high-profile principals
Multilingual capabilities, particularly Spanish proficiency
