Freelance Graphic Designer

Smartdept is searching for a freelance graphic designer for a media industry client. The ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of experience. This is a project-based, fully remote, ad hoc contract opportunity with hours varying based on project needs.
This role will support a fast-paced internal creative team by stepping in on an as-needed basis to execute design projects when bandwidth is limited. The ideal candidate is both conceptual and executional, able to take projects from idea through final production across a variety of formats.
What You'll Do:
Concept, design, and produce a range of marketing materials from start to finish
Create print and digital assets including brochures, sell sheets, and email templates
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project goals and deliver on-brand creative
Jump into projects quickly and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
Prepare final files for both print and digital production
What You'll Need:
3+ years of professional graphic design experience
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Experience working across both print and digital design projects
Ability to balance ideation, layout, and production work
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
