Overview
We are seeking a Senior Art Director, Beauty to lead creative concepting and execution for high-profile beauty campaigns and product launches. This role will be instrumental in shaping seasonal and evergreen creative, with a strong emphasis on holiday beauty concept development, pre-production planning, and post-production oversight.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned creative with deep beauty industry experience, a strong point of view, and the ability to independently lead projects from concept through final execution while collaborating cross-functionally with creative, marketing, product, and external production partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead creative concept development and establish visual direction for beauty campaigns, launches, and product storytelling initiatives
Oversee art direction across photography, video, CGI, print, and digital executions to ensure premium, cohesive brand storytelling
Develop concept decks and campaign narratives for varying product assortments, from hero launches to broader seasonal collections
Provide retouching direction and post-production feedback to ensure final creative aligns with brand standards
Art direct still-life and product shoots on set, partnering closely with photographers, stylists, and production teams
Participate in creative review sessions, including collaboration with external CGI production partners
Maintain and evolve the overall Beauty visual identity across seasonal and evergreen campaigns
Partner closely with internal creative leadership, beauty teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver work on tight timelines and across multiple concurrent projects
Qualifications
5–10+ years of experience in Art Direction, Creative Direction, or a similar visual leadership role within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands
Beauty category experience is required; experience art directing still-life beauty/product photography is highly preferred
Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign development, premium product storytelling, and concept-driven creative work
Experience creating concept decks, visual mood boards, and campaign narratives across multiple product assortments
Strong eye for detail with experience providing retouching notes and post-production creative feedback
Comfortable leading creative both independently and collaboratively, with confidence owning major workstreams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
Experience working on set and collaborating with photographers, stylists, production teams, and external creative vendors
Interest in fashion, beauty, and brand storytelling is a strong plus
