Samsung’s owned and operated advertising inventory on Mobile and CTV is key to our execution with leading properties such as Samsung News and Samsung TV Plus.
The Samsung Ad Platform delivers high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and brand-safe cross-device ad inventory. To further the growth of our ads platform we are expanding our efforts at the intersection of the retail vertical in the emerging digital out of home sector to provide a more holistic and cross-channel solution to our advertiser partners. In partnership with the Samsung Electronics Visual display team, we are launching a offering thats provide advertisers the unique ability to reach and engage consumers at the path to purchase and point of purchase. We are looking for a Senior GTM Product Specialist to help us successfully bring this new offering to market within the Samsung Ads business.
Main Responsibilities
This role is responsible for leading our Go-to-market sales enablement efforts for our DOOH products and services across both supply and demand. Critically important in this role is the ability to synthesize product capabilities with market positioning to craft a strategy and narrative around our DOOH offering, and the ability to execute the completion of key sales enablement materials. This role also deeply interfaces with Product to help guide our strategy and vision for the future of our DOOH product suite.
Develop and execute our Go-To-Market marketing strategy for our digital out of home vertical
Develop and manage a comprehensive plan for how we will introduce and incubate our new products and services to the market, this will range from core supply opportunities to cross channel solutions covering data and measurement
Be a key subject matter expert on our platform capabilities and influence our product roadmap
Develop detailed messaging, value propositions, marketing positioning and marketing colleterial communications to enable sales efforts in market
Support both supply and demand side needs in terms of GTM planning and execution
Be the expert on your products’ target audiences, the competitive landscape, and the industries with product market fit
Synthesize channel insights and industry trends and leverage that analysis to develop recommendations for marketing, product, and sales strategies
Partner with sales leads to optimize sales enablement materials for greater effectiveness
Job Experience and Knowledge
8-12 years professional work experience in media and/or ad-tech
5-7+ years of experience in GTM & Product marketing.
Experience in building and executing GTM plans and marketing solutions across the ad-tech sector.
Experience in digital out of home and/or retail media sectors a must.
Experience partnering closely with sales teams and developing effective sales enablement strategies.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with different departments from sales, operations, product, finance, legal, pr, etc.
Very strong project management and written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with different teams/departments.
Superb presentation and relationship building skills
Qualifications
- Extensive programmatic experience in the advertising technology industry.
- Familiarity with the programmatic DOOH and retail media industries
- B.A. or B.S. equivalent from accredited school
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $170,000 and $210,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
