Index Exchange is seeking a technically-minded

Senior Product Marketing Manager

based in

New York City

to own go-to-market strategy and execution across key areas of our Core Exchange roadmap, including agentic capabilities, machine learning and optimization, and data and identity solutions.

This is a highly strategic role for someone who operates with autonomy, influences cross-functional stakeholders, and drives measurable adoption and growth across a complex and evolving product ecosystem.

You will act as the product marketing owner for your areas, accountable for how our solutions are positioned, brought to market, and adopted by customers.

At the same time, you will serve as the voice of the market, bringing forward customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities, inform positioning, and influence product and go-to-market strategy.

You will shape product narratives and bring new capabilities to market, ensuring our solutions resonate with customers and the broader industry.

You will lead go-to-market strategy and execution, driving adoption, building thought leadership, and equipping Sales and Services with the insights, narratives, and materials needed to succeed.

This role reports to the VP, Product Marketing and works closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sales and Services, Marketing, Communications, Learning and Development, Finance and Analytics, and Legal.

What we're looking for:

Proven ability to own and drive product marketing strategy
Strong experience developing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for complex, technical products, with a demonstrated ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives
Ability to translate sophisticated concepts into clear, customer-centric narratives
Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams
Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform strategy and measure performance
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Here's what you'll be doing:

Own your product areas end-to-end, including positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and execution
You will develop a deep understanding of how the programmatic exchange works and translate the roadmap into clear, compelling narratives
Partner closely with Product Management to influence value propositions, launches, and roadmap direction
Lead global go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and partnerships
Drive product adoption and growth by defining KPIs and measuring impact
Build and deliver high-impact sales enablement, including collateral, training, and customer-facing materials
Proactively drive thought leadership and identify opportunities to grow awareness and influence in the market (e.g., industry events, content, partnerships)
Here's what you need:

6-8+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a related field (ad tech preferred)
Experience owning product marketing for a defined product area or domain
Proven track record of driving product adoption and go-to-market outcomes
Strong business acumen and ability to connect product strategy to commercial impact
Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Experience partnering cross-functionally across Product, Sales, and Marketing
Salary:

The base salary range for this role is

$190,000 to $220,000 . The total compensation package may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
