Part-Time Temporary Worship Accompanist Wanted
Pleasant Hill UMC (Indian Land, SC) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Worship Accompanist to join our music ministry team. This is a temporary part-time position that will play a key role in supporting our worship services and enhancing the musical life of our congregation while we explore our next steps.
Position Highlights:
Accompany Sunday traditional worship services on piano
Rehearse with and accompany the Chancel Choir
Rehearse with the Praise Band on Thursdays and occasionally accompany that service
Collaborate with Music Leaders and Pastor in planning worship music
Qualifications:
Proficiency in piano is required
Organ skills are a plus, but not required
Experience in church music is preferred
Reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about worship through music
