Program Supervisor

to join our team, with office location options in the

Pocatello

or

Boise -Westgate field offices. We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and results‑driven leader to oversee day‑to‑day operations for the Duals program team. This position is responsible for supervising staff, leading performance management efforts, and fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Program Supervisor serves as the primary operational liaison to Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), ensuring strong partnerships and effective contract execution. The role also includes preparing and delivering regular status updates to internal leadership and oversight bodies, while proactively identifying operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and maintaining clear documentation of controls.
This position plays a critical role in advancing operational excellence that serves thousands of Idahoans through Medicaid. The ideal candidate brings experience analyzing dashboards, reports, and other KPIs to evaluate contract performance, assess staff effectiveness, and inform strategic decision making. A focus on continuously refining end‑to‑end workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and reducing errors is essential. Responsibilities

Provide Day‑to‑Day supervision for Duals team staff.
Conduct performance management.
Serve as primary operational liaison to Managed Care Organization (MCOs) of the Duals program.
Identify Operation risks; implement mitigation plans and document evidence of controls.
Prepare and lead status updates for internal leadership and oversight bodies.
Manage interdependencies with eligibility, claims, provider relations, and member services.
Represent the program in cross‑functional initiatives and workgroups.
Develop, maintain, and analyze dashboards/KPIs to evaluate contract performance and recommend actions.
Map and refine end‑to‑end Duals workflows to remove bottlenecks and reduce errors.
Mentor staff for skill building and advancement.
Qualifications

Some knowledge of management practices. Typicallygained through one year of work experience that included all the essential elements of management (planning, organizing, leading and controlling) OR completion of two upper division college‑level courses, or approximately 60 hours of management training, that included all the essential elements of management AND six months of work experience performing all management elements.
Experience developing procedures and/or monitoring a budget. Typically gained by at least one year of experience developing procedures and/or monitoring a budget which included allocating expenditures, reconciling accounts and making fund transfers, or supervising these functions.
Experience supervising staff. Typically requiresat least one year of experience where you were responsible for interviewing and selecting staff, providing work direction and training, evaluating performance, and generating employer problem solving solutions. Include the length of time, number and level of staff supervised.
Experience providing liaison with customer/provider groups. Typically gained by at least one year of experience working with one or more community groups of adults or liaison with customers and/or provider groups in a leadership role to share information, coordinate efforts and/or achieve shared goals.
Experience interpreting federal or state regulations. Typically gained by at least one year experience reviewing information or documents for compliance with laws and regulations OR explaining to others how laws and regulations apply to specific situations.
