Job Summary
We seek an experienced, aggressive news reporter who can work in a fast‑moving newsroom, produce multiple broadcast and multi‑platform stories daily, and lead positive collaboration within and outside the studio.
Duties / Responsibilities
Produce live shots, write and post multiple stories daily for broadcast and all FOX 8 multimedia platforms under tight deadlines.
Manage breaking news and severe weather coverage, make sound split‑second decisions during live broadcasts.
Post content to the web, work with social media, and gather user‑generated content.
Utilize ENPS knowledge as preferred.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience as a television reporter in a top 125 market.
BS/BA in Journalism, Communications, or equivalent background.
Flexible work hours to cover varied shifts, including nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime.
Willingness to work in New Orleans, LA.
