Description
Promote, market, and facilitate the overall sale of bank products. Contribute to the bank's growth by the effective sale of bank services to new and existing customers with emphasis on courteous and professional service.

Responsibilities

Manage and service existing branch deposit portfolio.

Manage the day-to-day sales of the branch.

Grow the bank's commercial loan portfolio to meet bank goals and objectives.

Service customers within existing personal portfolio.

Initiate outside sales calls to target, solicit and secure new business to grow branch portfolios through personal marketing and networking efforts.

Input and update status of all leads and working customers into CRM to track progress and performance.

Obtain all required documentation from the customer and perform all needed approvals to prepare a smooth customer transition for new accounts, treasury management and any credit related products as necessary in accordance with bank policies, procedures and regulations.

Verify new account documents are complete and accurate according to policy.

Maximize bank profitability through appropriate pricing of deposit originations, fee income, and selling of all bank products and services.

Ensure that new accounts/relationships are processed and opened in an expeditious manner.

Service existing deposit portfolio and monitor branch deposit reports to ensure goals are being met.

Promote a positive image for PointBank and its employees in the community. Represent the bank at events and identify opportunities to connect with potential customers to develop leads. Follow up on leads with sales calls to potential customers at their place of business.

Be fully cross-trained in all Banker and Teller duties to assist branch staff and customers whenever needed.

Attend all meetings and complete all training required to ensure regulatory compliance.

Comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations and guidance associated with the performance of your job function, including BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures.

Provide suggestions to improve branch/departmental operations and overall bank performance.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management; accept periodic cross-training and may work in other branches if needed.

Frequency:

Rarely 0-15%; Occasionally 16-45%; Frequently 46-100%

Equipment Use:

Telephones, Copier/Fax Machine, Computer; Coin Machine, Cash Dispensing Machine, Bill Counter, Teller Drawer/Tower, Drive-thru Tubes/Commercial Lane Drawer, ATMs.

Physical & Mental Demands:

Light to Medium work; exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Activities include standing, walking, sitting, pushing/pulling, fingering/grasping, repetitive motions, talking/hearing, reading/writing, data interpretation, problem solving, decision making, and organizing.

Visual & Cognitive:

Close visual acuity for data analysis, transcribing, and computer use.

Working Conditions:

Inside and outside environmental conditions as needed; local travel between branches and to meetings/training; occasional travel for customer calls and events.

Qualifications
Position Requirements:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and/or 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
