Job Description
We seek an experienced Marketing Communication Specialist to join the Automation and Electrification (AE) business unit in Hoffman Estates, IL. You will work closely with our Business Unit Product Management teams to drive awareness, interest, and demand while increasing distributor satisfaction, loyalty, and retention for specific product technologies.

Responsibilities

Key contributor to marketing strategy development and implementation of external product communication plans for the assigned Business Unit technology.

Drive top‑of‑funnel inbound marketing, ensuring integration of appropriate content and messaging from central business units in Germany into the North American Region and harmonizing across all media.

Provide marketing support for the business unit trade fairs and events along with Product Management and Sales.

Coordinate the development and execution of technology‑specific content, communication materials, and/or campaigns to meet brand guidelines.

Utilize an integrated multichannel approach for both online and offline channels, selecting appropriate mix, content and timing to deliver the right message to the right audience.

Work with an agency to select appropriate media, content and timing to maximize contacts, qualified leads, impressions and other defined KPIs.

Compile, maintain data and report on the success of campaigns and marketing activities for assigned technology topics; identify, track and report on lead generation.

Manage spend for defined budget and report on a monthly basis to key stakeholders.

Collaborate with other Marketing and Product Management members to integrate consistent product content, promotion strategy and branding across platforms, media and distributor customisations; ensure timely and frequent website updates for assigned topics.

Utilise market research and intelligence to benchmark Bosch Rexroth against key competitor go‑to‑market positions and maintain in‑depth knowledge of how to differentiate the technology.

Support distributor‑specific projects with communication materials, communicate marcom plans that enhance distributor growth and maintain relevant content on extranet systems (myRexroth).

Support the marketing communications manager and broader marketing department in the development and execution of cross‑technology content and tactics as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field.

3‑5 years of work experience in technical B2B marketing, communications or marketing support roles.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).

Demonstrated expertise with LinkedIn, social media platforms and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp).

Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to create marketing copy for multiple media formats.

Ability to comprehend technical product features and translate them into compelling marketing messaging.

Experience managing marketing campaigns, tracking KPIs and analysing campaign performance data.

Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proactive problem‑solving mindset with strong judgement and initiative in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.

Fundamental financial acumen to manage and track marketing budgets.

Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Bosch Rexroth automation and electrification products.

German language skills and/or SAP experience.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $78,000 - $95,000 annually. Annual bonus potential of 0% - 6% of annual salary based on company performance. The position is benefits eligible, including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance and other company‑offered benefits such as a retirement plan with 401(k) company match and a defined contribution.
