Summary:

This position is with our partner business Ho-Chunk Housing and Community Development Agency

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, develops and coordinates all grant related functions of the Ho-Chunk Housing and Community Development Agency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduation from a 4-year accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of two (2) years' demonstrated experience in grantsmanship with an Indian tribe or with a fund-raising organization OR a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.

2. College or university course work, emphasizing English, creative writing, critical thinking, education, business, or planning, is preferred.

3. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and be skilled at research in using the Internet.

4. Must have superior writing and communication skills.

5. Must be able to work independently, manage time constructively, and demonstrate a dependable work record, with ability to meet deadlines.

6. Must be punctual and professional in appearance and demeanor.

7. Must be willing to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends and travel.

8. Valid driver's license, and proper insurance required.

9. Preference will be provided to Native Americans.
