We are looking for Designers who can create and implement Internet / Intranet design plans to meet business goals and objectives. The candidate will be responsible for keeping the Web Design a dynamic, simple to use, easy to order from website with regular updates on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
Both information and user-interface design capability
Design website layout and user-interface
Build Web sites using technologies that conform to industry standards
Lead efforts to improve overall merchandise presentation and ease of shopping on the website to improve conversion
Adds new products to company website
Edits or resizes images for website
Image Sourcing (stock images, resolution needs and copyright law)
Designs advertisement banners for website and email blasts
Review competitive websites to evaluate site merchandise, promotional tactics, customer experience, and product presentation and translate findings into executable online programs.
Perform maintenance and updates to existing Web sites, including content updates, design updates, and error correction
Ability to work productively with minimal supervision
Qualification
College degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years related experience
Strong knowledge of design principles, including page layout, typography, and color theory
Advanced knowledge of XHTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Flash, ActionScripting, and Adobe Suite
